- Each AVSL committee is self-governed, and is expected to meet at least once a year.
- Chairs are responsible for calling and facilitating meetings; chairs and members are responsible for attending meetings and participating in the work therein as necessary.
- Both chairs and members are responsible for keeping their respective section of the AVSL Handbook updated.
- The chair or co-chairs of each committee will submit and present a report of the committee’s work and accomplishments at the AVSL Annual Meeting. Reports should be submitted to the Annual Meeting Committee chair.
