Objective

Create a professional development committee.
 
The committee should create and/or consider the following:
  • Planning and running bimonthly journal club and peer review workshops.
  • Revising and promoting the AVSL Core Competencies document (attached).
  • Events should take into consideration international members. If held over Zoom, closed captioning should be provided. Before events, allow participants to identify any other accessibility needs they may have.
  • Continue to provide in-person professional development opportunities at annual meetings.
